The audition for the main girl character in the musical for youth attracts various adetepts.And so, on stage and backstage, girls of different types and characters meet, who otherwise might never have met.In the struggle to win the role, their negative but also positive character traits are manifested.There is a girl who is brought up by the street, a girl from a good family,who fulfils the ambitions of a failed mother, a girl loner, a pair of inseparable friends who quarrel for the first time in their lives...All this theatrical world is watched over by a very aspiring director and her assistant.
